Elyssa Vulpes, aka The Moon Whispers, was born in Italy but moved to Scotland at the age of 18 and then traveled to live in New Zealand, America, England and Ireland for several years. After a long time experimenting with genres as varied as Folk Noir , Dark Dance, Psychedelic Rock and Experimental Ambient, she now performs her own compositions as a soloist as well as appearing as guest singer in several international artists albums.
After completing a master in Electronic Music Performance and summing up ten years of her experience in the album "Pear of Blood", she has come back to Europe to work on a new project which includes Italian and English ballads as well as to collaborate with Holland based pianist and composer Arjen Schippers with who she's formed the experimental duo Mjuk.
After winning third prize at the festival of Biella 2011 as Original Singer songwriter Elyssa has moved back to Edinburgh where she collaborates with local musicians performing regularly at the Edinburgh Jazz Bar.
She is signed to the Progressive Trance Label Subtraxx. |
